We learn and grow in groups. No “Lone Rangers”. However you want to say it — following Jesus requires being part of a close knit group of like-minded Believers. The Alaskan lifestyle can make that difficult in a variety of ways: weather, medical, travel, or work schedules. Last year, I experienced the depression and disconnection of being away from home for an extended period of time and desperately needing my Sisters and Church family. I needed a touchpoint. A point of contact, an interaction point, with my Church family. I discovered I wasn’t alone in what I was experiencing. TouchPoint Alaska Ministries started in fall/ winter of 2021 as TouchPoint Ladies Bible Studies.
